I have it on good authority that Dick’s Sporting Goods will be opening a Bismarck store. The store will be neighboring the upcoming Gordman’s store at 1403 East Lasalle Drive – near the north Walmart and Plant Perfect.
According to Dick’s website, the company does not currently maintain any North Dakota store locations, with the closest store located in the Minneapolis metro.
Headquartered in Coraopolis, PA, Dick’s is a national sporting goods chain with more than 500 locations in 42 states, as of 2012. The company was founded in 1948 by Dick Stack.
