Completed in 2008 to replace the former headquarters for Bank of North Dakota, which is the country’s only state-owned bank. The former headquarters, located at the corner of 7th Street & Main Avenue, were torn down immediately after.
The site where this building now stands was once home to the nationally renowned Bismarck Holiday Inn Hotel, which opened in 1962. At its height, the Bismarck Holiday Inn was one of the most successful hotels ever to bare the Holiday Inn name.
