Car Crashes Into Two Mobile Homes, Driver Injured

UPDATE (12/18/2014): The 17-year-old male responsible for the crash has now been cited with reckless endangerment.


Early this morning at about 9:17am, a sedan crashed into two mobile homes on the 1700 block of East Rosser Avenue. According to a KFYR-TV article, witnesses estimated the vehicle’s speed at 60-70 MPH at the time of impact.

Both homes were occupied at the time of the crash, but no one inside was injured. The driver, a 17-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Damage to the homes was estimated at $50,000 and the car was totaled.

No confirmation yet on the cause of the crash or any pending charges.
