The party is over for one of Bismarck’s party stores. Party World, located in Upfront Plaza, is closing its doors. Baby World, the still fairly new baby store concept that is also housed inside the store, is also party-pooped and shuttering in the process.
Party World was the third party supply store housed in that specific space. Originally, in 1993, the space housed Paper Warehouse, followed by Party America upon their purchase of Minneapolis-based Paper Warehouse. Party World opened in the space following Party America’s relocation to its present location in 2008.
