Pepper Mill

The Pepper Mill was a restaurant that opened in 1976 at Third Street and Bowen Avenue. The restaurant later obtained the license to manage the Airport lounge and cafe that same year. It operated until 1979, when it was replaced by David’s Fine Foods. The building later housed Hollywood Nights Video/Planet Video and was destroyed by an electrical fire caused by the store’s sign in 2001. Hollywood Nights Video re-opened in a new building on the same before America’s Mattress replaced it. Today, it houses Plains Commerce Bank.
