Police Identify Best Buy and Target Shoplifting Suspects, Arrest Warrants Issued

Bismarck Police have identified two people believed to be suspects in the recent Best Buy and Target shoplifting incidents, which combined total more than $5,300 worth of stolen merchandise.

The suspects are described in a press release as:

  • “Siearre J’ashea Smith, 24 year old African American female, 5’5”, 130 pounds, brown eyes, black hair”
  • “Devonta Derrick Nelson, 21 year old African American male, 5’8”, 160 pounds, brown eyes, black hair”

According to a press release, the suspects have been known to drive a blue Dodge Caravan with a Minnesota license plate of 800-NMA.

Last week, the suspects allegedly stole more than 18 pairs of Beats By Dre headphones from the Bismarck Best Buy, totaling more than $3,500. Then on December 18, the suspects are believed to have stolen a Sony Playstation 4, Xbox One, and two Dyson vacuums from Target, totaling $1,800.
