The location is expected to re-open next season and other local Queens remain open.<\/p>\n<p>Except for its annual seasonal closures, the location has operated continuously since 1949 and is allegedly\u00a0the oldest\u00a0continuously operating restaurant in Bismarck.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time a local business has suffered\u00a0due to an employee shortage. One reason cited, although not confirmed, for <a title=\"Bismarck TGI Friday\u2019s Closes Abruptly\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/40186\/bismarck-tgi-fridays-closes-abruptly\">TGI Friday&#8217;s abrupt closure<\/a> was an\u00a0insufficient workforce. A planned A&amp;W Rootbeer location off of State Street, while fully constructed, also never opened due to an inability to obtain employees.
