Meriwether Trade and Gift Shop is having a grand opening this Saturday, October 20th at 116 East Main Street in historic, downtown Mandan.<\/p>\n

The Meriwether is Mandan’s newest gift shop and boasts ‘something for everyone’s taste, style and budget!’<\/p>\n

Grand opening festivities begin at 9 AM and will continue all day until 6 PM. The community of Mandan is invited to stop by to peruse unique gift offerings and to register for prizes– including a trip for two to Las Vegas. Refreshments and family-friendly entertainment will also be on hand.<\/p>\n

The Meriwether is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Scott and Roma Newton. The Newtons are recent transplants to Mandan from Arizona where they ran a custom silkscreen and embroidery business. \u201cWe are thrilled with the warm reception we’ve received thus far from our neighbors in Mandan. We’re really excited about this weekend’s grand opening and look forward to actively becoming a part of this thriving business community,” says Roma Newton, Manager, Meriwether Trade and Gift Shop.<\/p>\n
