The liquor license application also notes that it&#8217;s the present Space Aliens BBQ Pit location.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1786\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/bismarck-pictures-downtown-business-district\/downtown052009-07\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1786\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1786\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1786\" title=\"Corwin Churchill Appliance &amp; Mr. Delicious\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/downtown052009-07-200x150.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1786\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Space Aliens BBQ Pit opened inside the former Mr. Delicious space in 2011.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Space Aliens was originally established by local entrepeneur Mort Bank in 1997. The company&#8217;s\u00a0new Bar-B-Que Pit concept <a title=\"Space Aliens Bar-B-Que Pit Now Open Downtown\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/5548\/space-aliens-bar-b-que-pit-now-open-downtown-bismarck\">had opened<\/a>\u00a0in September 2011, shortly after the closing of Mr. Delicious at the same space, which was owned by the son of Space Aliens&#8217; founder.<\/p>\n<p>The exact fate of Space Aliens&#8217; downtown venture is currently unknown. I am awaiting replies from representatives at Space Aliens and Lucky Ducks Deli for confirmation.\u00a0\u00a0Keep checking back for further details.<\/p>\n<p>The building had housed The Drumstick Cafe from 1963-2001.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"f-2definition\"><\/a><strong>F-2 Class Definition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Title 5, a class F-2 license is &#8220;any applicant for a food and\u00a0beverage license to sell at retail, subject to the folowing: beer and wine only.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>UPDATE: The\u00a0Bismarck Tribune\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bismarcktribune.com\/business\/local\/space-aliens-closing-downtown-location\/article_a5f29294-ee23-11e1-ab2f-001a4bcf887a.html\" target=\"_blank\">is confirming<\/a>\u00a0that Space Aliens is indeed shuttering its downtown location, with Lucky Ducks Deli expected to open in its place. The Bismarck Tribune article also mentions that Space Aliens&#8217; founder, Mort Bank, is hoping to establish Bismarck&#8217;s first Panera Bread.
