Two conflicting reports have emerged today on the sale of St. Alexius Medical Center.<\/p>\n
KFYR-TV first reported<\/a> the hospital’s sale at 9:32 this morning. KXMB later cited<\/a> the sale as “premature” and, along with KFYR, posted a response from the CEO of St. Alexius stating that negotiations are still ongoing\u00a0with no definitive agreement yet in place.<\/p>\n While the sale doesn’t appear to be\u00a0final, it also seems likely that the\u00a0state’s oldest hospital will soon be under an ownership change.<\/p>\n St. Alexius was the first hospital in Dakota Territory when it opened in the former Lamborn Hotel in 1885.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Two conflicting reports have emerged today on the sale of St. Alexius Medical Center.
