According to a KX News <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kxnet.com\/story\/24790609\/around-town-2-21\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a>, the new location will be smaller and shift a larger focus on its core pharmacy operations.<\/p>\n<p>Mandan&#8217;s Thrifty White, which is considerably larger than Bismarck&#8217;s store, has been in its current location for a number of years.\u00a0The store is located directly next to the former Central Market store, which <a title=\"Bismarck\u2019s Central Market Sold to Dan\u2019s Supermarket; Mandan Location Closing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/46921\/bismarcks-central-market-sold-to-dans-supermarket-mandan-location-closing\">recently shuttered<\/a>. The departure of these two major stores will certainly leave a noticeable absence in Mandan&#8217;s downtown.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1884 in Jamestown, ND, Thrifty White is an employee-owned regional pharmacy chain with 86 corporate locations in six states. It also holds affiliations with 93 other pharmacies.
