None of the stores in North Dakota made the latest\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/id\/103569278\" target=\"_blank\">closure list<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This news quells\u00a0a\u00a0widely circulated rumor that Bismarck&#8217;s Kmart was shuttering and being replaced with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/wiki\/cash-wise-food-drug\">Cash Wise Foods<\/a>, as was the case\u00a0in Dickinson.<\/p>\n<p>The news is also certainly welcome to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/wiki\/gateway-fashion-mall\">Gateway Fashion Mall<\/a>, where Sears maintains a strong presence.<\/p>\n<p>Sears\u00a0first arrived in Bismarck in 1946 in the building now home to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/images\/zimmermans-furniture-webb-brothers-building\">Zimmerman&#8217;s Furniture<\/a>, where it remained until relocating to Gateway Mall in 1979.
