{"id":137626,"date":"2016-04-02T07:51:33","date_gmt":"2016-04-02T12:51:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/?p=137626"},"modified":"2017-04-17T09:20:45","modified_gmt":"2017-04-17T14:20:45","slug":"hancock-fabrics-shuttering-all-locations-including-gateway-fashion-mall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/137626\/hancock-fabrics-shuttering-all-locations-including-gateway-fashion-mall","title":{"rendered":"Hancock Fabrics Shuttering All Locations, Including Gateway Fashion Mall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hancock Fabrics, who filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy earlier this year, will be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.al.com\/business\/index.ssf\/2016\/04\/hancock_fabrics_closing_all_18.html\" target=\"_blank\">shuttering all of its locations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kxnet.com\/story\/31328682\/around-town-22616-gateway-fashion-mall\" target=\"_blank\">KX News previously confirmed<\/a> the closure of Gateway Mall&#8217;s Hancock Fabrics location; however, the announcement to permanently close all store\u00a0locations follows the recent purchase of the company&#8217;s assets at auction this week by Great American Group.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/hancockfabrics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">company&#8217;s website<\/a>, all stores are liquidating merchandise at 20%-50% off. The Bismarck store is still listed as open.<\/p>\n<p>Hancock Fabrics has maintained a Bismarck presence for decades. Previously located directly across from Kmart, the store relocated to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/wiki\/gateway-fashion-mall\" target=\"_blank\">Gateway Mall<\/a> in 2003, occupying part of the space vacated by Menards&#8217; relocation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hancock Fabrics, who filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy earlier this year, will be shuttering all of its locations.
