Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. <strong>BisManCafe.com, its parent Hoffman Creations, and all affiliated parties can not be held liable for the actions of its members or other third parties.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0BisManCafe Online Community is a free, interactive community\u00a0targeted\u00a0at local Bismarck-Mandan residents or other interested parties that have relation to the area. Note that there are two field section columns (middle and right).\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Title, Picture, &amp; Price<\/strong> &#8211; Enter a title for your ad. If desired, upload a picture and enter applicable price or salary.<br \/>\nNote: You can upload additional pictures later.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Specific Category Fields<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"> &#8211; Enter or select applicable\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">category-specific fields. <em>Note: Select a tab to change category fields.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>Contact Information<\/strong> &#8211; Enter appropriate contact\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">information for viewers to respond to your ad.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>Ad Description<\/strong> &#8211; Enter your ad\u2019s description here.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>Additional Media<\/strong> &#8211; Upload addition pictures, if desired.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>Map<\/strong> &#8211; Enter an address to embed a map, if desired. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>City Tag<\/strong> &#8211; Tag your ad by entering an appropriate city.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>Category Selection<\/strong> &#8211; Select an appropriate category. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>Submit<\/strong> &#8211; Submit your ad for approval.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Using back-end interface (Dashboard)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Dashboard is where all classifieds are edited or created. It is a back-end user interface that is only visible to logged-in users.<\/p>\n<p>To <strong>place a new ad<\/strong> from the Dashboard (as opposed from the Member Center, described above), hover your mouse over the desired category and click &#8220;Add {Category Name}.&#8221; Then, follow the same steps described above under &#8220;Placing or editing a free classified ad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>edit an existing ad<\/strong> from the Dashboard (as opposed from the Member Center, described above), hover your mouse over the desired category and click on the Category Name. Then, follow the same steps described above under &#8220;Placing or editing a free classified ad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"adminbar\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Admin Bar<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/uploads\/adminbar.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Click to enlarge\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/uploads\/adminbar.png\" alt=\"Click to enlarge\" width=\"1000\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The admin bar, located at the very top above the header, is the central toolbar for all Community activities. The admin bar only appears when logged in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admin Bar Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Editing profile information including password and profile avatar image<\/li>\n<li>Changing personal settings, such as notification alerts<\/li>\n<li>Notifications (ie friendship requests)<\/li>\n<li>Private and public messaging<\/li>\n<li>Group participation and moderation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Privacy<\/h3>\n<p>As a member, you are able to control the privacy level of your account, choosing who can view your profile, send you messages, and send friendship requests. The link to your privacy settings is located in the Admin Bar under &#8220;My Account&#8221;. <a title=\"Privacy &amp; Legal\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/privacy-legal\">Click here<\/a> to read our privacy policy.<br \/>\n<a name=\"privatemessaging\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Private Messaging<\/h3>\n<p>You are able to compose and read private messages to other friended users. When a new message is received, you will receive a notification in the Admin Bar. Depending on your personal notification settings you may also receive an email.<\/p>\n<p>To compose messages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin Bar:\u00a0My Account &#8211; Messages &#8211; Compose<\/li>\n<li>Enter\/select the member(s) you wish to receive your message<\/li>\n<li>Enter the appropriate subject and message fields<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Send Message&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To read messages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin Bar:\u00a0My Account &#8211; Messages &#8211; Inbox<br \/>\nOR<\/li>\n<li>Click the notification message<br \/>\nOR<\/li>\n<li>Click the link in the email notification (if enabled)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><a name=\"friending\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>&#8220;Friending&#8221; Users<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Navigation Bar: Community &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/members\">Member List<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Locate or search for the member you wish to Friend<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Add Friend&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Your friendship will be completed once the member accepts your request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Cancelling\/Removing A Friendship<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin Bar:\u00a0My Account &#8211; Friends &#8211; Friendships<\/li>\n<li>Locate the friend you wish to cancel<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Cancel Friendship&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a name=\"groups\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Groups<\/h3>\n<p>Groups allow members to communicate with one another regarding a specific topic.
