During World War II, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismarckcafe.com\/blogs\/wiki\/fort-lincoln-internment-camp\" title=\"Fort Lincoln Internment Camp\">Fort Lincoln<\/a> was used as an internment camp for German and Japanese civilians and POWs.
