The retailer had been in business for over 100 years. Hoskins-Meyer originated as a dry goods, stationery, and tobacco store; however, it was a floral store for most of it existence. It&#8217;s former greenhouse, pictured here, was demolished in April 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Co-owner Philip Meyer founded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bismancafe.com\/blogs\/?page_id=197\">KFYR<\/a> in 1925 &#8211; Bismarck&#8217;s first radio station, which also began television broadcasts in 1953.
