Parkade Parking Ramp

Parkade Parking Structure

The Parkade is a mixed-used structure in downtown Bismarck with a multi-level parking ramp and several tenants.

Opened in 1970, the Parkade was the city’s first multi-level parking ramp. A skyway was approved in 1982 to connect the Parkade to the newly completed Sheraton Galleria. The Parkade completed an expansion in 1984 that added two levels. $600,000 in federal block grants primarily financed the expansion.

In 2012, Bismarck Parking Authority announced plans to upgrade and renovate portions of the Parkade.

White Drug was an originally tenant, having relocated from across the street in the building now home to Walker N Daughters Jewelry, along with Evan’s (and Shark’s) Menswear. Other notable tenants have included Red Wing Shoes, Sanford Health, and the UND School of Medicine.
