Legacy High School Opens

Bismarck’s first new high school in nearly forty years opened its doors this morning.

The 289,000-square-foot Legacy High School is home to roughly eight hundred students and headed by Principal Tom Schmidt. Construction on Legacy began in September 2013, with a cost of $56 million.

Legacy joins Bismarck High School, Century High School, and South Central High School in the Bismarck Public Schools’ district.
