S&H Green Stamps

S&H Newspaper Ad featured in Bismarck Tribune.S&H Green Stamps was a national rewards program that was extremely popular from the 1930s into the 1980s. The rewards catalog was once the largest publication in the United States. Customers would receive the familiar green stamps upon checkout at participating retailers, and redeem them for products in the catalog.

A 1956 advertisement listed Eslinger’s 66, Olson’s “Skelly”, Service Drug, Sinclair, and Red Owl as participating retailers.

Bismarck once had a redemption center located at 212 Main Avenue.
