Located on the corner of Main Avenue & 4th Street. This was originally First National Bank, which was the second oldest bank in North Dakota. The bank’s first building on this site was completed in 1879, and destroyed by the August 1898 fire. Today it houses BNC National Bank.
Downtown Bismarck is a registered historic district that held strong importance to the initial growth and success of the Bismarck area. Bismarck’s downtown is roughly located between Washington Street & 7th Street; and Rosser Avenue and Main Avenue.
