Marquardt Wins Open Bismarck City Commission Seat

With 62.03% of the votes, Steve Marquardt has won the race for the open Bismarck City Commission seat. The seat was vacated by Mike Seminary, who recently became mayor of Bismarck, replacing departing long-time Mayor Warford.

Marquardt previously ran in the 2014 June Primary election for one of two open seats on the Commission.

Marquardt has served on the Bismarck Public School Board for eight years, including serving twice as president. He has resided in Bismarck since 1989 and works for Twin City Implement.
