Two Escape Dakota Women’s Correctional and Rehabilitation Center

Authorities are on the lookout for two escapees from the Two Escape Dakota Women’s Correctional and Rehabilitation Center in New England. The two inmates, identified as Justice Lange and Jessica Briggs, escaped around 10:45pm last night.

Lange is described as 5’3″, weighing 230 pounds, with short black hair. Briggs is described as 5’4″, 143 pounds, with blonde hair and pink highlights.

According to a KFYR-TV article, the escapees are suspected to be driving a black 1992 GMC pickup truck with a license plate of JPV-316. The rear window of the truck contains a blue Fox racing decal and two other smaller stickers on the rear left bumper. The truck’s front driver fender is also dented.

According to WDAY-TV, Lange’s criminal record includes felony conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary, related to a rash of local Bismarck-Mandan burglaries in 2013, as well as a misdemeanor minor in possession.

Briggs’s criminal history includes felony possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor criminal mischief, and simple assault.

Update (2:48pm): Both escapees were apprehended in the Dickinson area earlier today.
