Donut Hole To Become Bearscat Bakehouse
By Randy Hoffman (admin) on May 21, 2012
Long-time Bismarck donut shop, The Donut Hole, will re-open Friday under the name Bearscat Bakehouse. According to an interview by KX News, “bearscat” is an old cowboy term for donut.
The Donut Hole was founded in Dickinson in 1975 by Baker Boy and opened its Bismarck location in 1980.

The cookies and donuts in the last couple weeks have been greatly improved over the old donut hole items that were being sold. Not sure if that is related to this new name change but everything is so much better there now!
