North Dakota Surpasses Alaska To Become Nation’s #2 Oil Producer

North Dakota has now surpassed Alaska as the nation’s second-largest oil producing state, behind only Texas. Positioned in ninth place only six years ago, North Dakota is now producing 575,490 barrels daily from 6,636 wells.
