Bismarck Plans New School, Simle Expansion

The Bismarck School Board has announced its intentions to purchase 80 acres of land on the northwest corner of 71st Avenue and North 26th Street, at a total cost is $2.4 million. The exact use of the land hasn’t been disclosed.

The Board also intends to purchase two buildings near Simle Middle School, at an estimate cost of $1.5 million, for future expansion plans within the next five years as the system accumulates an estimated 730 additional middle school students.
